Filing your return

When you file your return, you will need to have the following information handy:

• DLN (Document Lodgement Number). Inland Revenue will send you a 14-digit number by email and/or post. This is needed to lodge your return online
• Company IRD number
• BIC (Business Industry Classification) code. You can find this at https://www.businessdescription.co.nz/
• Company bank account number

Remember to sign, date and file your income tax return receipt with the rest of your tax records.
